How is xTract different from the video analysis software we already use?
Most legacy platforms are rigid tools that require hours of manual tagging . xTract is an intelligent sports operating system that actually learns your specific game model. Instead of forcing you to use standard terminology, our customizable AI adapts to your unique language and tactics. Plus, xTract automates up to 95% of the analysis workload, whereas current solutions maximize at around 2%.
How long does it take for the AI to learn our team's specific plays?
It’s surprisingly fast. In a setup session as short as 30 minutes, you can upload 5-10 clips of a specific play or movement pattern, and the AI will learn to recognize and tag it automatically forever. The system gets smarter with every game analyzed, creating a "network effect" of intelligence specific to your team.
We already have a camera setup at our stadium. Do we need to buy new hardware?
Not necessarily. xTract is completely hardware-agnostic and works with any camera system you currently have, from smartphones and GoPros to professional broadcast feeds. However, for real-time processing without relying on the cloud during the game, we provide the xTract Pro Box (an edge server) that installs easily at your facility.
Can the AI understand me if I am... "passionately expressing myself" from the sideline?
Mostly! xTract supports natural language voice commands in over 50 languages, so you can ask complex queries like "Show me the last 3 opponent fast breaks" hands-free. However, while it tracks "Momentum" and "Pressure Situations", it does not currently have a filter for "Referee Rage." We recommend keeping the queries distinct from the colorful metaphors you shout at the officials!
When can we start using xTract for our season?
xTract is scheduled for a full public launch in the Fall of 2026. We are rolling out sport-specific modules in phases, starting with Hockey and Squash, followed by Basketball and Volleyball.
